You’re unable to pass this particular section of the Courtyard without removing the Crumbling Pillar first. This Curio in Darkest Dungeon: The Crimson Court is located in the Courtyard and can only be removed with a shovel (unless you want to take damage). As you’d expect, we recommend using the Torch for this Curio in Darkest Dungeon: The Crimson Court. Should you decide to interact with the Throbbing Cocoon without using an item, you’ll summon mosquito enemies. When it comes to the Throbbing Cocoon Curios, you can use a Torch to burn the eggs within the cocoon and regain Stress. Again, the Thronging Hive Curio can only be destroyed with these Pitch Soaked Torches. This is a special Curio that requires you to utilize three Pitch Soaked Torches (different from your regular Torch), which you receive at the beginning of the quest.
